| Outcrosses
have been done carefully over the years, with pedigree research underscoring
all of our breeding decisions. Type, as well as Pretty are hallmarks
of the Bengal Package we strive for in every Sunbright-bred Bengal.
We don't chase the Next Big Thing here. Years of hands-on Experience
and networking has given us the Philosophy that the Bengal cat is a developing
breed, and as such is a "work in progress". |

| Our
work currently focuses on: consistency in litters, whited tummies, long
bodies, straight-tracking rear leg assemblies with good bone, small ears,
good profiles, underjaws, and whisker pads. Patterns featuring rosettes,
no barring and clear definition of color are found in abundance here! |

| We
are particularly proud of the fact that at the first FIFe recognition show
in Europe, when the Bengal was accepted as a Championship breed - over
half of the 50 cats presented from eight countries traced directly to a
pair of Sunbright kittens we had sent to the Netherlands years before to
help establish the breed there. |

ARE CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF DOPPLER ULTRASOUND SCREENING ALL OF OUR
BREEDING STOCK FOR HCM AND SHOULD BE DONE BY THE END OF MAY. RESULTS
WILL BE POSTED. |
